Spring Classes
BEGINNING KNITTING/ADVANCE BEGINNER
Saturdays, March 3, 10, and 17, 10:00am to 11:30am
Cost: $45.00, plus supplies.
Materials: worsted weight yarn, size 8 needles
This is a beginning class that is for the total novice or for those with prior experience who would like a review. This class will cover casting on, binding off, knit and purl stitches, ribbing, seed and basket stitches, increasing and decreasing and how to read a basic pattern. The advance beginner can choose a more difficult project—such as lace knitting or an easy first sweater while learning to use circular needles and gauge.
COLORWORK TAM
Saturdays, March 24 and 31, 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Cost: $25.00
Materials: 2 colors self striping worsted weight (choose yarns without any matching colors or a solid for the main color), Size 7, 16” circular & size double points.
This intermediate class is an introduction to working with two yarns at the same time: learn to read a color chart and how to strand the carry yarns.
EASTER SOCKS

Materials: 4 skeins simplicity by Hikoo in different pastel colors, Size 4 sock needles, Pamm’s Easter Sock Pattern
Jump in Spring with these cheerful colorwork socks. Learn basic sock and colorwork techniques including the slip stitch heel, turning the heel, picking up the gusset and graphing the toe.

There is homework before this class!
Needle depends on yarn but needs to be a circular, 36” long.
This self-fringing scarf is knit in the round using only the knit stitch and then you cut!
